Investigation Efforts Result in Recovery of Stolen Property

 

Bear Valley Springs, CA6/3/2011 An ongoing investigation into several recent theft related incidents that occurred in Bear Valley, has led to the recovery of evidence/stolen property valued at over $7000, from a location within Los Angeles County. Assistance in the investigation and a joint detail between the Bear Valley Police Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department resulted in an L.A. County search warrant that was executed on 06/02, at a Bear Valley residence wherein an arrest was made.


 
Arrested was, Jeremy Lee Britt, 25, of Bear Valley, per an L.A. County arrest warrant. Britt also had a Kern County arrest warrant related to the Bear Valley thefts in regard to possession of stolen property.




The search netted additional evidence potentially related to the recent thefts, as well as fresh charges to be sent to the Kern County District Attorney for filing consideration.

Britt was taken to and booked into the custody of L.A. County authorities in Lancaster. Bail for both warrants totaled $150,000 at the time of his arrest.

 

Further investigation into newly discovered evidence is being looked into.
