How To Obtain a Bear Valley Resident Sticker
 
Note: Only vehicles registered to the homeowner, renter, or person(s) listed on the decal file are eligible for decals.
 
If You Are An Owner

To ensure a smooth and expedient process, bring the following items:

  • Current vehicle registration. (Only vehicles registered in your name)
  • Your valid amenities card (obtained from the B.V.S. Association) or your grant/land deed for the Bear Valley property and a picture identification.

If You Are A Renter

To ensure a smooth and expedient process, bring the following items:

  • Current vehicle registration. (Only vehicles registered in your name)
  • Your valid renter's amenities card (Available from the B.V.S.A. only if the homeowner has relinquished their amenity rights) or your renter's agreement and a picture identification.

New Vehicles

If you have a new vehicle and the registration is not yet in your name, please provide the bill of sale showing your name as the new owners.
 
Replacement Decals

Proof of registration is not required for a replacement decal however, a picture I.D. and receipt for the windshield is required. If you do not have the receipt, please bring in the old sticker and it will be replaced.
 
Selling of Vehicles

For your safety please remove the decal from the vehicle even if the vehicle is being sold within the valley. This way, the police department has the correct vehicle owner on file.
 
For Guests

For guest passes please call the Bear Valley Gate at 661-821-5261. Be sure to have your tract and lot number and the first and last name of the guest ready. Guest passes are issued in advance, for anywhere from 1 day and 2 weeks in duration.
 
Long Term Care or Private Employees

Make arrangements with the Community Services District at 661-821-4428 for information on obtaining a long term pass.
 
Contractors Passes

Make arrangements with the Community Services District at 661-821-4428 for information on obtaining a long term pass.
